Radiation Awareness – Virtual Course Information
- Fee includes a pre-course electronic file with comprehensive course material, and a post-course electronic poster on radiation awareness.
- A confirmation letter with full details will be sent to you upon receipt of your registration form.
- At least two virtual trial runs of one hour each will take place the week before the training in order to familiarise you with the Zoom online platform, test your download speed, audio, connectivity, etc. Attendance of one of these trial runs is mandatory.
- The course will commence at 08:00, concluding at about 16:00 with breaks for tea and lunch.
- For the knowledge test the delegate should preferably complete the test on his/her cell phone. This will be an electronic test utilizing the SurveyMonkey platform at the end of the course.
- The course presenter will supervise ALL the delegates during the test via the Zoom platform. For the duration of the test, delegates need to log on to the meeting on a device that has both a camera and audio. Both the camera and the audio must be on for the duration of the test.
- Where two or more delegates are in the same room, in-person supervision has to be arranged by a staff member that is more senior than the delegate doing the on-line knowledge test.
- An attendance and knowledge certificate will be emailed to delegates after the course.
